LOCATED ON AN OCEANFRONT PROPERTY IN EGMONT FACING ONTO SECHELT INLET THE LODGE IS REMOTE BUT EASILY ACCESSIBLE. HERE ARE VARIOUS WAYS YOU CAN FIND US.
A unique destination in one of the most beautiful areas of British Columbia, West Coast Wilderness Lodge is an easy forty minute float plane ride or three hour ferry trip and drive from downtown Vancouver.

Traveling by bus
3.5 HOURS
Sunshine Coast Connector offers passenger service between Vancouver and Powell River, BC. Guests coming to West Coast Wilderness Lodge will need to book their ticket over the phone with the bus company as the Egmont stop is by special request only.

Driving Instructions
From Vancouver International Airport by-passing downtown
Exit parking lot and continue straight.
Proceed over Arthur Laing Bridge.
Take Marine Drive East to Boundary Road.
Turn left (heading north) on Boundary Road.
Turn right on Route #1 (this exit is right after traffic lights at Canada Way and Boundary).
Stay on Route #1 which leads over the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge.
You are now on Highway #99 heading toward the Upper Levels Highway also know as the “Sea to Sky Corridor”.
Leave Highway 99 at the Horseshoe Bay turnoff.
Take the Langdale, Sunshine Coast Ferry.
When you arrive on the Sunshine Coast you land immediately on Highway 101 and travel North, approximately 85 kilometres, following the signs to Earl’s Cove Ferry Terminal.
Turn right when you see a sign to Egmont and follow the Egmont road for six kilometres until you reach Maple Road.
At Maple Road turn left and continue approximately 1/2 kilometres to a junction with a large sign for Egmont Marina.
On the right you will see a large set of black gates and the sign for West Coast Wilderness Lodge.
From Vancouver International Airport through downtown
Follow the signs to Grant McConachie Way, Vancouver and City Centre.
Proceed over Arthur Laing Bridge.
Keep right and follow the signs to Granville Street and City Centre.
Go along Granville Street (approximately 8 km), then over the Granville Bridge.
Take the Seymour exit off Granville Bridge.
Follow Seymour Street 7 blocks to Georgia and turn left (west).
Head west along Georgia Street, approximately 12 blocks to Stanley Park.
Go through Stanley Park and onto the Lion’s Gate Bridge.
As you leave the bridge, follow the signs for West Vancouver.
You will find yourself on Marine Drive.
At the 1st traffic light turn right onto Taylor Way.
At the 2nd traffic light, take the left lane and follow the signs to Horseshoe Bay.
Take the Langdale, Sunshine Coast Ferry.
When you arrive on the Sunshine Coast you land immediately on Highway 101 and travel North, approximately 85 kilometres following the signs for Earl’s Cove Ferry Terminal.

From Seattle (6 hour driving time, including ferries)
Travel north on I-5 (Interstate 5).
Enter British Columbia through the Peace Arch Border.
I-5 will then become Highway 99.
Follow Highway 99 signs through Vancouver.
Head north over the Lions Gate Bridge to the Upper Levels Highway (also Highway 99).
Leave Highway 99 at the Horseshoe Bay turnoff.
